So I am sad to say that our pediatric clinical rotation is now done. I really enjoyed working with this population, so I am sort of bummed. Last week Thursday was the last day at the hospital and we each had two patients the entire shift so that was a little different. And Friday was more of a fun day that consisted of mainly our evaluations with our clinical professor. My next clinical is the psychiatric rotation which will start in January and should be pretty interesting. So without having clinical on Thursday and Friday I have two days that opened up without any school until the new semester starts again in January. But for this past rotation I had 3 other students that were in my awesome nursing 315 class, so that was cool!
This is our last week in out theory class (topics include Abuse and Victimization, and Trauma). Then next Tuesday is our final exam...which is kind of scaring me.
I think that even with two semesters left, it is super cool that end is finally insight. I am so ready to be done. Another one of my awesome nursing 315 friends got this sweet idea and made a chain of how many days we have left until we are done with school! Here is the picture- Props to LG!
